Long story short – I was talking to my friend Beau today, asking him if he was planning to go to Gen Con this year (because we haven’t gamed together in a few years and it would be awesome to meet up). He affirms that yes, he is. Then he tells me he’s also going to Gary Con. I follow the link and suddenly realize, as waves of joy wash over me, that’ll be back in the States in time to go. Better yet, it’ll be held in Lake Geneva (a Mecca for gamers, truth be told), which is right down the street (okay, it’s a few hours away, but still) from my place in Sheboygan. We immediately start making plans and, within 40 minutes, I’m registered and I’ve bought my badge. So, it looks like I’ll be at Gary Con this year!
I don’t know if any of you out there will be there, but if you are, I’d love to run a game for you. Considering our next first, full-length adventure, Into the Pale Tower will be out by then, I’ll probably run it there!
Of course, this means I’ll be pulling out all of that brand new Dwarven Forge stuff I’ve been itching to use….
I’m already excited!
