(…because we have cool things in ours)
So, today I checked my e-mail and was delighted to discover that Will Cooper updated some of the material we’ve been working on for Children of the Hammer with some of his own very cool ideas. I don’t want to say just what, but it definitely, without a doubt, involves gun blades, magi, and dwarven bloodlines with a sorcerous bent – stuff that makes Rhune: Dawn of Twilight shine. Oh, and when I say very cool, I mean just that.
Of course, even if you’re not a Rhune fan, you’ll be able to use this material. In fact, I could see some of this stuff ending up in a Shadowlands game or in Wolfgang Baur’s Midgard (and fans of those settings should take note).
We’re also working on our first two full-length adventures, which promise to be very fun. The outline for the first A Feast for Wolves is coming along nicely and, with Bill Collins on the team, I think we’re all in for a wild ride.
In other news, I’m happy to report that Of Stave, Stone, and Heart is officially out of edits and moving into layout, which means I hope to have it out before Gen Con! Not only is it a bigger book, it’s gloriously illustrated by Mr. Terry Maranda! If you like runes, this book is bound to end up on your “to grab” list (at least I hope so).
In closing, 2012 is turning out to be a fun year (and when we’re having fun, you’re bound to benefit with lots of awesome RPG stuff)!
