Roberts is a fantasy cartographer who has drawn maps of imaginary worlds for IDW comics, Open Design, Mongoose Publishing, BMW and many others. He occasionally draws real places too, recently running a gallery show of maps of Manhattan created by the members of the Cartographers’ Guild.

When not drawing maps he thinks about cosmic rays and dark matter.
